Okay, I am back again to say that for certain I will be posting the next chapter tomorrow! It's been crazy with the move at work, and I am continuously working at least 10 hours a day, which leaves little time for anything but being extra tired!

So, probably just a little earlier than this time tomorrow, I will post. Sorry for the wait!

Hello all!

Hoping to have the next chapter of The Red Curse up within a few days. As I expected, work certainly did NOT calm down as predicted by my boss. Fortunately, things really should calm down by next week. We are moving facilities at the end of this week and my set-up at the new place will facilitate MUCH better organization and time management.

Ahem, this is assuming we actually DO move facilities by the end of this week. There is a chance that may be pushed back.

Sorry again, folks! Trying to edit the second half of this chapter of TRC and my eyes keep drooping closed! I had a 10 hour shift today, and I've worked a total of 42 hours in 4 days this week. I still have one day to go! I house-sit tomorrow after work, though, so I should have some nice peace and quiet in the evening to finish things up.

My boss seems pretty confident things will dramatically slow down next week. I'm a bit dubious...

Wow, okay, so those tests I talked about? I spent 4 hours yesterday and 2 hours today tutoring my coworkers on taking them, on my days off. Needless to say, I did not have too much time to edit TRC.

I will compromise and cut the chapter in half and post the edited half tonight, and then finish editing and post the second half late Thursday.

Geez! Every minute I think I have some free time...

So, it turns out the last one of those hours-long tests I had taken didn't actually go through to the instructor (curse you, internet!) and I was forced to waste quite a bit of time retaking it to resend. The good news is, I did pass all of those tests! The bad news is, I have not had time to even begin editing the next chapter of The Red Curse, and it's a giant mess in need of editing.

I am going to have to push my posting day back until Monday, and will likely not post on Thursday the 4th. Sudden RL career upgrading stuff is sucking all my time! I am going to desperately try to continue to fit in the fanfic stuff (because I love it) in between my case studies and medical record keeping (which I am going to be doing on top of my 40+ hour workweek and housesitting and dogsitting), but don't be surprised if I am late and/or miss a week here or there for a few months. Things will settle down again once I've actually completed this program!

I realize I post this quite often, but the next chapter of The Red Curse will be tardy again, posted on Friday or (more likely) Saturday. I've been spending my evenings taking multiple hours-long tests on the science of mammal skin, and will have a long work meeting after my regular shift tomorrow, and then Thursday I will be seeing about getting things organized for my summer vacation to Ireland. And on Fridays, I tend to do 10-12 hour shifts.

Now here's hoping I actually passed those tests...
